This year’s Great Cattle Dog Muster was our biggest and best ever, with over 7,500 attending. Special thanks to all sponsors, supporters and volunteers who helped to make it happen. A big shout out to all the Cattle Dog Exhibitors and Pet Cattle Dog owners for coming along.
At our September breakfast we had the pleasure from hearing from two of our newest members. Firstly we heard from Shannon Serhan from Sergate Fleet Hire, followed by Emma London – Rimex Wheel. Also addressing the audience was Michael Valantine from MV Solar, who gave an update on the solar battery rebates currently available through the Federal Government.
The Chamber recently held its AGM. In his president’s report, Mike Kelly, sincerely thanked his fellow volunteer Directors for their continuing support and noted that all have taken time out of their business and private lives day to attend to Chamber matters and to support Chamber Programs.
Our August breakfast saw over 80 attendees here presentations from MSC Mayor Jeff Drayton, UHSC Mayor Maurice Collison, GM from UHSC Greg McDonald, Shaelee Richards from MSC, Glen Caldwell GM Destinations Sydney Surrounds North, and Wayne Toms representing Upper Hunter Country Tourism.

A large audience of over 100 attended our July Chamber Breakfast to hear from our State MP Dave Layzell, Member for Upper Hunter, and our Federal MP Barnaby Joyce, Member for New England.
Over 80 people attended our June breakfast to hear from IT expert Alex Slade of A Corp. Computers, who give a very insightful presentation on the every increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business.
The theme for our May Breakfast was New Member Introductions. Attendees heard from Gareth Lloyd – Titan Technicians Enterprise, Amber Wright – The Regional VA, and Codey Dundas – Enviro Posts, who all gave a brief introduction of themselves and their business.
The Muswellbrook Careers Day held on the 3rd April was a great success, due to being so well supported by all involved. The day saw over 57 business/employer stands on display, with 140 school students attend the morning session and a further 125 general public attend the afternoon session.
Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites members to enter the 2025 Muswellbrook Business Awards. The Business Awards are a premier event on the Muswellbrook business calendar, culminating in our Black-Tie Gala Awards Dinner showcasing finalists across a range of categories and celebrating award winners that have been assessed by a panel of independent judges.
